Apple Seeds is hosting its next workshop on March 9th from 4-7PM
What: Apple Seeds Garden Workshop
When: March 9th from 4-7pm
Where: Apple Seeds office, 2648 North Old Wire Road, Fayetteville AR

More Details:
This workshop includes three hands-on and informative sessions and a school garden calendar compliments of Freckled Hen Farmhouse:
"Building Your Raised Beds"-- Where do you build your bed? What materials and tools do you need? How do you build it and maintain it? We'll cover all of that...plus you'll get your hands dirty by helping to build the garden bed.
"Planting in Arkansas"-- Companion crops, seasonal planting, seed selection, and crop maintenance, and more.Trust us...with our guest speaker Luke Freeman, Horticulture Specialist at National Center for Appropriate Technology, you'll leave confident in how to plan your own gardens.
"Engaging Children in the Garden"-- Now that it's built and you know what to plant, how do you use it in really meaningful ways! This is a particularly great session for teachers, but anybody who has little ones can benefit from hearing all of the great ideas that our very own Destiny Schlinker, Apple Seeds' Program Manager, will share.
