What began as a small program started by Ozark Natural Foods is now a Teaching Farm with roots that will help young students across NWA have access to programs that will inspire them to eat and live healthier.
Home to a production farm, a variety of gardens, a Teaching Kitchen and a team that provides garden-based programs to students, the Teaching Farm is a place for our young students to learn, garden, cook, and grow.
Our farm programs, including Farm Lab and Farm to Table, are hands-on, fun, academically rich, and inspire our young students to make healthy food choices.
Thanks to our collaboration with the City of Fayetteville, Apple Seeds has a 20-year lease on 2 acres of land at Gulley Park to establish the Apple Seeds Teaching Farm. With an adjacent building to house our offices, a teaching kitchen, and an indoor education center, Apple Seeds can now serve as a long-term resource for our region.
The Teaching Farm at Gulley Park is now open!
