Open Positions

Apple Seeds is hiring! We're looking for entrepreneurial and enthusiastic full-time program coordinators for our Cooking in the Schools and Farm Lab programs.  These positions offer ample opportunities to be involved in a leadership role as the programs grow.  This is an opportunity to be a part of a growing endeavor and provide a unique service in a supportive community. Open Garden Hours at the Teaching Farm

The Teaching Farm, situated inside Gulley Park, is bordered by a cedar split-rail fence, but our gates are open for visitors to explore.
Open Garden Hours are every Saturday from 9AM-12Noon March through October. Visitors of all ages are welcome to stop by, lend a hand in the garden or participate in our kid-friendly garden activities. 

The Teaching Farm hosts special community events and fundraisers throughout the year. 


Formal staff-led tours

Tours for groups can be arranged Monday through Friday around our regular programming. There is a fee of $50 for groups. For more information, fill out the form below and we will contact you.

Volunteer Opportunities

With more than 3,000 hours of service recorded in 2017 we have a variety of volunteer opportunities available! Opportunities on the farm and at our programs are available to individuals and to organized groups of businesses, civic groups, and more.

For UofA students interested in enhancing their skills, Apple Seeds offers a variety of volunteer opportunities and seasonal unpaid internships.
