Central Arkansas Programming

Welcome to Apple Seeds' Central Arkansas Programming, an expansion launched to serve even more students in the Natural State with the support of Arkansas Children's.

In collaboration with elementary schools in Central Arkansas, we are excited to provide students in grades K-5 with hands-on farm field trips at Oak Forest Community Garden and in-school culinary education. Proudly partnered with the University District Development Corporation and the University of Arkansas Little Rock, this initiative is designed to cultivate a profound connection with the origins of food.

Apple Seeds is expanding its impact by introducing a comprehensive in-school cooking education curriculum to elementary schools across Central Arkansas. This carefully crafted program empowers young minds with practical culinary skills, setting the stage for a lifetime of wholesome eating habits.
