Join horticulturist Ames on Saturday, March 29th from 9am-12pm for an insightful workshop on organic fruit growing in Northwest Arkansas. With 50 years of experience, Ames will share his expertise on the best fruit varieties for our region. He’ll also discuss the impact of climate change, especially in relation to pest and disease management. This workshop will provide practical guidance on selecting fruit species, managing common challenges, and growing successfully using organic methods.

Whether you're a seasoned grower or just starting, this session will offer valuable knowledge and potential strategies for thriving in Arkansas.

While the workshops are free, registration is required as attendance is capped to provide a quality experience for attendees.

Parking is available in the Gulley Park parking lot off of Old Wire Road. From there it's a short walk north to the gates of the Apple Seeds Teaching Farm. For drop-offs only, the address is 2648 N. Old Wire Road. Please note that there is no parking available in the driveway.
