Featured Chef - Originally from Orange County, CA, Chef Eric Evans discovered his love for cooking with his grandma in her kitchen. For Eric, cooking serves as his creative outlet, allowing him to work collaboratively with a team of like-minded individuals. Chef Eric came to his culinary career with years of experience working in the service industry -- first in coffee shops, and then moving into butchery while living in Atlanta, GA. Following his stint in The Peach State, Eric moved with his wife, and their four best friends and families to Fayetteville, where he quickly joined the talented team at Hail Fellow Well Met. It was here that Eric met and worked with Chef TylerRogers and he credits Tyler for much that he's learned. The two chefs then joined the culinary team to open The Restaurant at Stonebreaker, where Eric is currently the Executive Sous Chef.
About the Kitchen Table Dinner Series - Born out of a desire to build a community around great food, Apple Seeds' Kitchen Table Dinner series is designed to recreate the feeling of gathering around a dear friend's table. These dinners aim to bridge the gap often felt between the chef and diners in a typical dining environment, thereby creating a deeper connection to the food on the plate. Through intentional procurement of local, seasonal ingredients, the transparent preparation of the meal, and storytelling by the chef, each plate is transformed from food into an unforgettable dining experience.
