A Valentine’s Day Love Story: One Course at a Time
For centuries, food has been humanity’s most enduring love language. Across cultures and generations, ingredients have been chosen not just for nourishment but to express devotion, spark romance and bring people closer together. This Valentine’s Day, we invite you to a heartfelt evening on the farm for Apple Seeds’ Kitchen Table Dinner featuring Chef Noy Phoumivong. Join us for an intimate evening inspired by the theme “A Love Story: One Course at a Time.”
The dinner will unfold as a culinary journey through history, with each course reflecting a moment when food was used to express love, passion or connection. From ancient traditions to modern interpretations, the menu is designed to feel both thoughtful and deeply personal, celebrating the way shared meals have always shaped human relationships. Each course will be revealed with intention, inviting diners to pause, reflect and savor not only the flavors but the story behind them.
Seating is limited, so secure your seats now for this one-night-only event on Valentine’s Day: Saturday, February 14th at 5:30 pm!
We hope you’ll join us for an evening where love is served in every course.
Featured Chef - Noy Phoumivong, a Springdale native with Laotian roots, has spent more than 30 years working with food. With degrees from Johnson & Wales University and the University of Arkansas, she enjoys blending the science of food with the creativity of cooking. As the Director of Product Innovation at Simmons Prepared Foods, her current role gives her the opportunity to travel the world and explore new food trends. For 13 years, Noy has also worked closely with local farmers, shaping the menu at Meiji Japanese Cuisine and other Asian-inspired restaurants. Like many chefs, her love of cooking began at home, helping her mom prepare traditional family meals; she hopes you’ll take the experiences from this dinner back into your own kitchen to create traditions that are meaningful to you.
About the Kitchen Table Dinner Series - Born out of a desire to build a community around great food, Apple Seeds' Kitchen Table Dinner series is designed to recreate the feeling of gathering around a dear friend's table. These dinners aim to bridge the gap often felt between the chef and diners in a typical dining environment, thereby creating a deeper connection to the food on the plate. Through intentional procurement of local, seasonal ingredients, the transparent preparation of the meal, and storytelling by the chef, each plate is transformed from food into an unforgettable dining experience.
