If you like BIG and BOLD flavors, this is the Kitchen Table Dinner for you!

Featured Chef - Chef Brent Hale’s love for cooking started at a young age. He became a dishwasher for his first boss, his mom and was in charge of loading and unloading the dishwasher after each meal. Being in the kitchen felt so natural to the young chef.As he grew so did his love of food and desire to make a name for himself. Brent attended culinary school in Arlington, Texas at a local community college. During this time, he began his first culinary business, “Dining By Design” a small catering company, and later moved to Northwest Arkansas in 2008.

Chef Hale founded Big Sexy Food in 2016 as a food truck in Fayetteville. He grew to 3 food trucks over the next 3 years and, through a series of wild events, opened the first Big Sexy Food restaurant in March 2020. Chef Hale’s menu features modern American cuisine such as “Chicken Fried Baby Back Ribs”, “Grandma's Fried Chicken”, and “Pork Pork and Pork" - a pork rind crusted pork loin chop with bourbon bacon béchamel, but let’s not forget his out of this world burgers.  As it’s said at Big Sexy Food, “Life is too short for ugly food!"

He also competed and won in Guys Grocery Games on the Food Network, “Friend or Foe” episode, and was invited back for another competition not long after. Chef Hale has a passion for food and for people. You will experience this when dining at his restaurant or spending time around him.  He brings the heat everywhere he goes! Grab your friends and get your tickets now.  This Kitchen Table Dinner will be BIG!

About the Kitchen Table Dinner Series --  Born out of a desire to build a community around great food, Apple Seeds' Kitchen Table Dinner series is designed to recreate the feeling of gathering around a dear friend's table.  These dinners aim to bridge the gap often felt between the chef and diners in a typical dining environment, thereby creating a deeper connection to the food on the plate.  Through intentional procurement of local, seasonal ingredients, the transparent preparation of the meal, and storytelling by the chef, each plate is transformed from food into an unforgettable dining experience.
