Campers will spend the week at the Apple Seeds Teaching Farm gardening, harvesting fresh ingredients, and making delicious recipes inside our Teaching Kitchen. Through hands-on activities students will be connected to the garden and will be inspired to prepare healthy meals at home.

They will have fun learning valuable skills such as how to care for a garden bed, wash fresh produce, how to read a recipe, how to measure, how to safely chop foods, how to taste-test to improve the flavor of a dish, and also covering nutrition basics. A healthy morning snack will be provided each day for campers along with a full lunch that campers will prepare themselves. We will build their confidence, knowledge and skills to keep them cooking long after camp!

The Kids' Table is for children ages 7-12 years old.
