SOLD OUT - 3.10.24: Kitchen Table Dinner with Chef Sam Diaz: A Celebrated Homecoming!

$130.00

Our March Kitchen Table Dinner is a celebrated homecoming for Chef Sam Diaz, the former chef of Northwest Arkansas restaurant Berretto! Sam is coming all the way from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to dazzle our palates with Italian-inspired flavors. Join us for food that is fresh, fun and, more importantly, so good you'll take your time to savor each bite.

Featured Chef - Chef Sam believes that food brings people together and good food keeps them at the table. Raised in Miami, Sam was exposed to various food cultures but a strong love of Italian food was born working alongside Chef Mike Pirolo, first at Scarpetta and then joining him as he opened Macchialina in the heart of South Beach.

From there, Sam rose to be the chef at The St. Austere in Brooklyn, NY, the sister restaurant of Macchialina. After 6 years in Brooklyn, family and a change of pace led Sam to Northwest Arkansas where, after a couple of years, the small restaurant Berretto was born.

Although now back in Florida creating a fun pop up experience in Fort Lauderdale, we are thrilled that we caught Chef Sam on a NWA visit and have this opportunity to offer another amazing dinner experience!

About the Kitchen Table Dinner Series Born out of a desire to build a community around great food, Apple Seeds' Kitchen Table Dinner series is designed to recreate the feeling of gathering around a dear friend's table.  These dinners aim to bridge the gap often felt between the chef and diners in a typical dining environment, thereby creating a deeper connection to the food on the plate.  Through intentional procurement of local, seasonal ingredients, the transparent preparation of the meal, and storytelling by the chef, each plate is transformed from food into an unforgettable dining experience.
